You can enjoy a Margarita, beer or agua fresca while observing, participating and eating the most delicious foods in the World!

Each Class is a Full Meal . It is prepared, presented and served the traditional Mexican way. You will be given tips on where and what to buy locally to either cook with here in your home or take recipes and tips home from your vacation.

Sarandeado is a coastal Nayarit specialty.  Betty’s Fish Tacos are delicious!    You’ll love making them at home!  Served with dressings and sauces.

               Chiles in Nogada, Arroz Verde y Special Guacamole

One of the most loved dishes in all of Mexico.  A national pride!   Learn to make this beautiful meal; plus learn about different chiles used in Mexican cooking.  Served with a side of Green Rice and a different, special Guacamole.

       Sopa de Azteca & Enchiladas Rojas y Guacamole al Molcajete

We all love Tortilla Soup, a Mexican comfort food!  Accompanied by Enchiladas Rojas. Learn all the secrets of this perfect soup and learn the special red (roja) sauce that will make your enchiladas perfect! Plus Guacamole made in a traditional molcajete.  Learn about the traditional molcajete (mowl-cah’-hettay) and what to look for when choosing one for your kitchen.

                Pollo/Mole Rojo y Costilla de Cerdo/Salsa Verde

Learn to make Tamales!  Here are some pictures of a prior class!  Learn the “feel” of just-right masa dough.   These tamales are made with chicken/red mole and with pork ribs/green sauce

Taco Buffet!  Three fillings:  Potatoes with Chorizo, Pork Tinga and Mexican Beef Steak; plus various salsas including Salsa de Avocado.  Side dish of Nopale Salad. Learn how to prep and use our little cactus paddles, nopales!!
